Save an Olive Tree in Tuscany
Pierluigi Giachi and his family created this project to celebrate the 300th anniversary of Tenuta Torciano (1720–2020).
The goal of the project is to preserve more than 7,200 centuries-old olive trees located in our olive groves in San Gimignano and near Florence (Poggio Moreto and Impruneta), where outstanding Tuscan olive oil is produced every year.
These ancient trees require constant care and manual work to survive. Through the Torciano Adopt Program, we aim to financially support their preservation and ensure their environmental value continues into the future.

ABOUT TORCIANO
Tenuta Torciano is a hidden jewel in the heart of Tuscany, located near San Gimignano, perfectly positioned between Siena and Florence.
Our winery represents 13 generations of winemaking tradition, combining ancient agricultural knowledge with modern techniques to produce wines and olive oils of the highest quality.
Each adopted tree includes a personalized certificate of adoption, and you can give your tree a name. A wooden plaque engraved with the name you choose will be placed next to your olive tree. If you adopt a vine, a wooden plaque engraved with the name you choose is placed on your section of the row, and you receive bottles of the wine made from the grapes of your row.
For each plant you adopt, you will receive a certificate of adoption. You can choose a name, which will be engraved on its wooden plaque.
